Terms & Policies
Hi I am so excited to start this journey together. Before we get started I want to walk you through a few of my policies. This will help me to guarantee your best possible experience for all future visits.
CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY:
In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options to my guests, I require a minimum of 48 hours notice. I understand that special circumstances are unavoidable and a cancellation may be necessary. If you find yourself unable to keep your appointment I request at least 48 hours notice. All cancellations must be done through my booking site listed above. Cancellations through text, email or social media will NOT be valid. Should you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, a 100% cancellation fee will be applied to the card on file. This courtesy enables the availability to schedule another client in - in turn and maintains a higher availability of services for you as well as others.
RESCHEDULING
To reschedule your appointment, please go back into the booking site above and cancel your appointment. If you are outside of the cancellation period, no fees will be charged and you’ll be able to reschedule. If it is not allowing you to reschedule that may be because you are within the 48 hour parameter.
PAYMENT POLICY:
All payments must be made at the end of your service appointment. If for some reason you are unable to pay there will be a charge of 5% compounding interest for every day you are late. Full amount will be due before being able to book again. Clients who no show or have a late- cancellation history or who's card on file has been declined for a no show will be asked to see another stylist as this goes against my business standards.
REDO/FIX/REFUND POLICY:
Your happiness matters to me. If you are unhappy with your service or need something tweaked, I will gladly work with you to fix it but due to the nature of my services refunds are not offered on services or retail purchases. I am more than happy to adjust services at no extra cost to you if notified within 7 days of your last booked appointment with me. Adjustments must be done within 14 days of original service date. Anything after that will result in a new appointment charge for any alterations.
RUNNING LATE:
I understand that sometimes we cannot control traffic, getting kids out of the house on time or your coffee shop taking a bit longer on your order. When scheduling an appointment I allow a 15 minute grace period because I know things happen. If you are running any later than 15 minutes I may need to adjust to a smaller service in order for me to run on time for my other appointments. If you run over 15 minutes late, a late fee will be applied to your service total. If I cannot perform the service within the time left you will be charged 100% of the service fee.
CHILDREN POLICY:
I want you to enjoy your service. I also want to ensure that everyone is kept safe. Due to the nature of my work this is an unsafe space for children. The salon has many hot tools and chemicals in it. In order to keep the comfort and safety of all my guests, I ask that this policy is complied with otherwise I will ask that you reschedule. Your appointment will then be treated as a no show and you'll be charged 100% of the service amount.
INCLUSIVITY POLICY:
My space is a safe space for all people. As a person and a small business owner, I strive to stand up and speak out against all forms of hate, fear and discrimination. I believe in the dignity, equality and full humanity of all people regardless of race, sex, gender, mental health and ability. I support the full rights and inclusion of BIPOC and LGBTQIA + people. That means there is zero- tolerance when it comes to anything that is hateful or abusive to myself or other clients.
RIGHT TO REFUSE POLICY:
I will refuse to anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves inappropriately, is abusive or can pose a threat to my business & its patrons.
PRIVACY POLICY:
Your personal information is used to help maintain and improve your experience and send important messages as well as marketing communications. I do not under any circumstances, share any of your information with third-parties.
NO GUARANTEE POLICY:
Genetics, medication, hormones and your overall health all play a role in your chemical makeup which includes your hair. What may work for one person, may not work well for you due to the differences in how your body is built to react. Previous chemical services, professional or at home, whether lightened or darkened by a box dye or professional, or permed or relaxed all present their own risks. Well water, hard water and copper pipes-heat reactions: Even if a color is faded it is still present in your hair until it is completely cut off. Mineral deposits from water and pipes can build up in your hair and cause a reaction with hydrogen peroxide aka bleach powder, color removers and oxidative color. The reactions are UNPREDICTABLE and can happen after multiple times of using the same product. It is unsure how deposits are going to react, and many do not even know they have them built up in their hair. Using the same exact product for years, then one day having a chemical reaction is similar to developing an allergy to something we have been already using our entire lives. Other variables: There are unpredictable risks not mentioned above that may or may not occur during your color service. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE WHEN PERFORMING A CHEMICAL SERVICE. I would not be doing my job if I didn't present these risks to you ahead of time. The more I do your hair and know the products used on your hair, the better predictions we can make as we learn and get to understand your hair better.
AGREEMENT: By booking with me you acknowledge and agree that you have carefully read this policy form and fully understand what it means. By booking with me you are agreeing to abide by all policies aforementioned.
